Done for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday challenge to create a pocket using edger dies.

I used an edger punch instead because I wanted frilly edges. I made the pocket, folded the edges over, then added embossed papers to it to get the look I wanted. I'll stamp a sentiment on the inside when I use this card-it should work for birthdays or weddings. I stuck a couple of ticket stubs from my "stuff to include on scrapbook pages" stash to show the pocket.
Love the look of your card. Reminds me of a wedding cake. It is so dainty. Clever idea to emboss the pocket. The colors are so soothing.
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks like a lush wedding cake. Very pretty with those beautiful borders and embossing.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love that double-layer cake as the pocket - very original. ;-)
